Metropolitan Montessori's School Play

Last night was a big night for Emily (one of the girls I babysitt) She had her school play "Dear Edwina" which was sooo witty and fabulous! I didn't want it to end. From what ive been told it is a new play (about 4 years old). Here is a brief description of what the play is about : Edwina Spoonapple lives in Paw Paw Michigan with her parents and 3 siblings. All her Siblings are really good at something and have ribbons and certificates showcased on the fridge to prove it. However Edwina isn't well skilled in the areas of violin or swimming, but........she is good at giving advice! So the story goes on to kids who write Edwina letters about how to get so and so's little brother to stop bugging her, a girl who is shy, or how to set th dinner table correctly ( salad fork, for , plate, knife, spoon ) This play even though it's set in todays time gave me a feeling of the late 40's for some reason. Anyways if you ever see this play appearing in your neck of the woods I highly recommend it & I imagine reading the book will be just as great!
