A Temper for my Tempera

So last Thursday I trecked down to Pearl Paint in chinatown. That was a big deal being that it was cloudy and if there is anything that I don't like it's going out when it's dreary! And last Thursday was dreary, but once inside pearl my little firecrackers started popping again. One of the things I stocked up on was Tempera Paints, now I hope I don't offend any artists out there but Tempera is my favorite medium to paint with. I love the thiness of it which makes it easy to spread, I love that I can easily make fine smooth lines, I love that it has a matte finish and not glossy like all the others, I love that I won't feel bad about using my paint brush in it to mix other colors, I love that it is easy to get out of my paint brush and clean up else where ......and the list goes on! So now that ive got more colors ( gotta go back for more of the metalics though) I can really go to town again with painting. HEE YA!
