Good Day Everyone?
From reading everyone's' blogs, im getting soooo excited for Renegade! Also how cool is it that it seems to me so many vendors that will be there are coming from out of state [?] I now wish I would have gotten myself a table :/ Next year though....maybe. Whats been on my mind now for oh a month or so is school tuition and my credit. How is it that we pay our bills on time and yet I can't even get approved for a loan on my own? Im so upset that ive got to get a co-signer....yesterday when I was on the phone with a man from CITIBANK [do not like them!] said that I can't get approved based on my income being too low - not because my credit is bad [?] So frustrating! Yes I can understand if they go by what im making now if I was to pay during school but I wouldn't start paying off my loan till I graduate [4 years] and im pretty positive my income will be higher than what im making now......Plus what's even more frustrating is trying to do all this over the phone or computer! Forget going into pretty much any bank and applying for a student loan there - they have completely taken away any one on one in person conversations having to do with that..... Soon there won't even be humans working at banks, post offices, grocery stores etc. *SCARY* I think that Is another thing to add to my "To-Do" list when I make a substantial amount of money in the future....Open banks across the country where everything has to be done inside the bank! Sure I love technology but remember it doesn't have any feelings :( Like all the live journal bloggers who can post a "mood face" and since blogger doesn't have that, well mine is depressed!!!!!

Hey, I just want to say that I completely understand what you are going through with the credit thing. I used to want to go to parson's so bad when I was in high school, but knew that I could never afford it, so I went to F.I.T. instead. I don't know if this will help you, but maybe you should check it out. http://www.edloans.gmacbank.com it seems like the requirements are pretty easy to get the loan and they give the money directly to you, instead of the school. Also, I was wondering what you used to create the drawing below?, i love the way the lines look.
Thanks for the info - I will definitely look into that! Well for the picture I drew everything and then scanned it into my computer and added color through photoshop :)
oh no, i really hope you can get a loan somehow - it doesn't make sense, if you had a higher income, why would you need a loan to begin with??
i'm totally wigging out about renegade - i should have split the table with someone, since i have no idea what i'm doing!!! and i have 3 separate sets of friends + family coming in to visit. ahhhh! how are you doing? :)
well im freaking out too! :) but trying to be "low key" about it :/ *alot of good thats doing though* just think that just "being" there is good enough [gets your name out] and then if you've got goods to sell, well then thats great! That makes the load a little more bareable.
hey roxy* oooh...school loans are a headache for sure, but your school should definitely have some sort of loan counselor on hand to help you figure it all out. i'm not sure how mine got set up, it was so long ago! but i definitely did it through school. have you filled out your fafsa yet? i think it might be a bit late, but you can still do it. call parsons! you shouldn't have to figure it all out on your own.
yeah ive filled out fafsa and got half of the tuition from it [including school scholarship] but Parsons is $28,000 a year!!! and that isn't counting living exspenses, transportation, health insurance etc. and so they say that tuition and all that included is $45,000..... :/ oh and on top of that..the financial aid department is closed until the end of August.
life sucks...sometimes... =P
take it easy and my best wishes to you!! =)
