Okay, I don't wanna toot my own horn here, but I can't stop laughing hysterically at the recent post on fredflare's blog, [www.fredflare.com] there is a picture of Keith [co/owner with Chris of fredflare] and I at their Weekend Wonderland Sale that I stopped by and FINALLY purchased thee COOLEST cell phone attachment ever! I was rockin it last night as I was heading to school to drape, I noticed some people tripping out over it! :) ahaha lol *fantastic* But anyways back to the picture on their blog... it is soo funny for one major reason which I will not say - im curious if anyone else out there notices what has me blushing! :) lol *Thankyou fredflare friends for the 7 minutes in heaven on Saturday! :) lol*

Went on a walking tour of Brooklyn yesterday, started around Prospect Park and then made our way towards the river, over the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan then back to my apartment! It was AMAZING! And I feel the pictures speak for themselves..... ;)

Picked up a copy of Vogue Living the other day. I LOVE IT!!!! I would much rather have this magazine than Vogue itself! Literally there is more inspiration in this one than in Vogue [american]. I realized, that it is much harder for me to get inspiration for new clothing designs by looking at other people's clothing designs, and actually more ideas come to my head if im looking at things other than fashion [ofcourse not all the time] so when you get a chance, pick this magazine up. And isn't the Philippe Starck stroller at the bottom of the page too cute!? I want one in my size!!! ahahaha lol* okay no more laughing, gotta go pick up Emily from school.

Passed this Perrier ad on my way to Design Partners after school. It made me smile, plus I love the illustrations!

Finally, finally finished my circle skirt!!! Im so proud of myself because........... the beginning of the semester I was desperately struggling with my draping and pattern making class, but now I feel it has *clicked*! Which is so odd to say that, because ive been sewing since I was 10 [but I was mediocre] and then was super hard core about it when I moved out here etc. etc. .... but yes my skirt is done, I draped it, cut it out, the whole nine yards. And hopefully I can wear it, I haven't tried it on yet. But im thinking that this skirt paired with a nice cowl neck mohair sweater, black tights and ballet flats will make such a cute outfit! Plus it is great for twirling in, for those of you who like to twirl! :) lol I LOVE to twirl...... ahahaha lol - no really I do! p.s. the bottom right picture is of the blind stitch! My *favorite*

Unless you've been living under a rock in N.Y.C., then you all should know by now about Uniqlo opening its flagship store down in Soho next week! I cannot even tell you how excited I am for Uniqlo to come to New York City! When Hiro and I went to Japan that was always the number one place [and Tokyu Hands!!!] to stock up on clothing basics. They are sooo affordable it's not even funny, and the quality and craftsman ship is either double or triple the price of what one is actually paying for. And I also love how they have contests every year, Parsons was included in one last year for the freshmen and might be again this year ?[need to look into that] Anyways LOVE LOVE LOVE Uniqlo!! I cannot say enough good things about them and I hope that anyone who is near a store will go and check it out just to see what im talking about! :) A jacket from one of the Designers competition. Basic, but the construction and detail is fantastic, especially for only $ 49.95!!!

Happy Belated Halloween, I wanted to get this picture that I took [on the Upper West Side] up before yesterday, but because EntryHost is cockeyed, my blog/site has been down for a week now [?] I hope you all partied it up and had a blast, I had so much fun with my vacuum and swiffer dust cloth... I was cleaning all night after I got back from school. That is my life peeps! So the other two pictures im posting are also from the Upper West Side, however, I know that the leaf imprint on the sidewalk can be spotted anywhere :) and I just thought the light fixture was great because it seems to coicide perfectly with Oct./Nov./Dec., and im really likeing the clover motif cutout, would be cute as a print on a dress!
