PLEASE read - and possibly leave some feedback!? :/

Earlier today I received a very interesting email from a lady saying that she had bought my "Ultimate Coloring Book of the World" on fredflare.com and wrote to tell me that it scares her and believes that there are drug related and homosexual references in it that are inappropriate for children. :^[_] <- this was the look on my face as I was reading her email.... I dunno what to think, honestly im shocked. 1. because ive NEVER been risque with any work that ive put out there, 2. the book is mostly for children, and I can't imagine putting in drug & sexual innuendos for kids to look at.... this really disturbs me. But I do want to be fair to this lady's concern. Because many times I do feel some what oblivious to things around me, however nowadays one really can't say or do anything without it having a double meaning, as opposed to 50 years ago. So I will share with you what the lady wrote to me, and if any of you have time, can you check it out over at fredflare.com or in my shop at roxymarj.com and tell me what you think? Because if it does raise some eyebrows, I think ive got some re-wording to do. :/ Here is her email. Thankyou! Roxy, To explain in detail what I mean, on the mushroom page there is a man sprouting within the mushroom jugling stars...and on the page following it states "Happy Days are here again" The peace signs relate to hippies and drug usage. Also the page with the male specimen with the blush and womens shoes is questionable as homosexually related. I really think that you are portraying wrong images and i know that you know that many ideas in this book are surely inappropriate. Thank-you for your time

Nestled between a pre-war and a condo on 94th st. between West End Ave. & Broadway, is one of my favorite little places in all of Manhattan that I would LOVE to live! Pomander Walk! It literally looks like something from one of Hans Christan Andersons stories... Every time I walk by it [more than once a week] I place myself in one of the cozy little cottages gated off from the outside, tending to my tiny garden, opening the door so as to lure my neighbors over with the smell of cakes and pies baking!!! AHHH!!! How fabulous would that be? Oh some day. :) Now I just got to thinking while I was dreaming about this, how odd it would be to be so well off that you could buy whatever you wanted, but would then keep one from dreaming about things he or she wanted? I guess the only thing left to dream about would be going to the moon, or getting beamed off to some place like Spock in Star Trek etc. That would actually make for an interesting read... What kinds of things do Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey for example all dream about? World peace and ending world hunger cannot be on the list, that one is just a given...um anyways im trailing off from the main reason of my post. Pomander Walk. If your up in that vicinity, you should walk by and take a peak, [that is actually all you would get anyways]

GAH!!! So much has been going on, and again I neglect blogger! :( Finals, finding a place to live finally - ill be on the east side in the 50's till may [sublet], putting together my coloring books for fredflare ~ and I just got another order of 80-100 -- so whomever is out there purchasing them. THANKYOU SOOOOO MUCH!!! Really you have no idea how much that is helping me, :))) And so much more other stuff... sadly I won't be sending out a lengthy 5 page Christmas letter that will tell you all how fabulous of a year ive had! :) ahaha lol um sorry to those I offend who send those but #1 I HATE THOSE THINGS & #2 My life this year is nothing worth putting a letter and mailing it to everyone - yeah uh huh...id rather put it on blogger *chuckles* umm and #3 do we really care if bobby got a A+ on his history exam? NO!!!! Actually I haven't gotten any letters like that yet of my own, but growing up, my parents got them ALL the time. So im sure once I have children they will be pouring in, hmmm this post is starting to sound negative and not one bit cheery. Time to change the mood... Ill be moving into a super cute place next weekend and im SOOOOOOOOO excited!!! I can't wait... School ends next friday and ill be kissing everyone on the street and singing climb every mountain! Then next Sunday I fly to Utah for Christmas and do all the fun festive stuff with my family, sit in front of the fire place all day long, watch tons of movies... do beauty ranch with my sisters and mom... possibly ride the four wheeler in the massive amounts of Snow that ALpine gets and then ofcourse catch up on rest!!! <--- ewww wait did this just turn into a christmas brag letter? :/ mmm well if so im sorry, but, ive been through ALOT this past couple months and im ready to be treated like a princess!!! :) ahahaha lol or atleast not like a slave!! Okay so to end this post before going to pick up Emily at school [girl whom I babysitt] I wanted to share a couple of my drawings from my fashion digital class. Our final was to take the clothes we designed, along with the prints, stripes, and plaids on the clothes and then put them on a figure that we draw as well...everyone did realistic more fashionable figures, but I opted for my illustrative style, I like them a lot! :) so these are two out of the five that we had to do.. Once school is over I will be posting lots of pictures from this semester... so more to come! :) hope your all enjoying December...

While visiting the Met for a field trip for my Fashion History class, I got to walk by my FAVORITE school in New York City. Marymount school for girls. If I ever have girls, that is where I want them to go to school. The inside is soo beautiful, it feels like your inside somebody's home! Plus, any school that puts Christmas wreaths outside the windows is A+ all the way!! Then the second image is of cardstock, from when I was working on putting my coloring books together, I like the design a lot! :)
