Finished Sketchbook Volume 2 and now onto Vol. 3! Yesterday evening I went to school to check my email and do "work" stuff and when I was on the train heading home, I realized that I left my 20GB hard disk at school!!!! Yep........ So half way home on the train, I had to turn around and pray that someone didn't steal it. Luckily when I got back to school someone was sweet enough to turn it in... had that been stolen...well..I would be in bed right now trying to avoid life. :(

Awhile back I openend an etsy account [www.etsy.com] and then closed it shortly after. I don't know what it was but I just had a hard time with the whole thing. However, I am at it a second time to master the problems that I constantly faced i.e. having a banner, logo etc. Hopefully I can really get it this time and stay consistant with putting my work out there on a regular basis! For now I just put up some original artwork, right now I only have one piece from my "Pelle" series up, but I have more that I just need to scan in - so check back for more of those. I was just introduced to Flight of the Conchords last night, and I am truly obsessed! I have never laughed so hard for so long, in the longest time! Had to share this with you.... I am assuming most of you have already heard of them [I am a constant late bloomer] but if you haven't heard of them - I bet they will be your new addiction too!!! hehehe lol

Pages from my summer sketchbooks.... :) We have two fall collections due for homework over the summer, I am going to do children's wear again! Yesterday when I was on the subway going home, I noticed a man sitting across from me drawing like myself. I didn't think anything of it, and went back to doodling. Once we hit 42nd st. he got up to leave, but before doing so, tapped me on the shoulder and handed me this picture and said it was meant for me! ahahahaha lol It was such a weird experience, but so funny! My sister and I were studying it last night and tripping out left and right, she was saying that an art therapist would have fun with that drawing. He was in his mid to late 30's by the way. :)

So as you all know, I was bribed by my dear friend Roseanna to make her wedding dress! What was the bribe you ask? Cotton Candy! Man, I should have totally asked for something better, like brownies or cherry jubilee from Magnolia. But anyways.... I FINALLY finished the wedding dress for Roseanna, Friday morning, she got married Friday evening! I really don't want this to sound self consumed and snotty, but I have to say how happy I am with it and think it is really elegant and tasteful! Roseanna looked so beautiful in the dress plus I think she looked like a vintage bride! The reception was sooo much fun and the food [which was prepared by my other good friend Beth] was so yummy, plus I got my drink on! ahaha lol NOOOOO just kidding. Oh! But my favorite part of all............. was the sparklers! That was a blast! Enjoy the pictures - tommorrow I will post pics of our new pad! yee-haw! ahaha lol =D
