Back to crazy busy schedule, and school hasn't even started yet. What has been going on this past week and a half. 1. finished my 3rd summer sketchbook and halfway through #4 now!!! :) cool graphics spotted around the city. Trying...really trying to get myself motivated again for my summer homework. :( Started with a big bang, and then somehow fell between the cracks and lost all desire...100 croquis to do, 7 finishes from one collection, flats, two mood boards and swatch board... and this is pretty much what I have done for my children's wear collection. Gotta put the pedal to the metal!!!

Last week, some friends and I went and saw a free concert at lincoln centers outdoor summer concert series...we saw Arlo Guthrie! It was so fun, and we were probably the youngest people there! While waiting for the show to begin my good friend Annie Poon and I swaped sketchbooks and drew in each others. Here is what she drew in mine.... so cool! And my two weeks vacation just ended, the girls I babysit were in Switzerland for 2 weeks, they had a blast. So for every vacation they go on I like to make them a mix for them to listen to over and over again, so when back home listening to it they will be reminded of the place they visited and everything they saw. So I thought it appropriate to name thier mix for Switzerland "Swiss Mix" ahaha lol too bad it wasn't in the winter, then that would be even MORE fitting! Hot Chocolate anyone? Okay, I am total corn dog! and lastly. Hello! Tornado in Brooklyn yesterday!!! What was up with that. Sarah [my sister] and I were woken up to a cat stuck between our screen and the window bars at 5am in the morning...it was such a crazy day yesterday. Took me 3 hours to get to work..I walked from the Atlantic stop in brooklyn [target] all the way into Manhattan to little italy...took about 45-50 min I believe. It was actually a very nice walk, and I got to ponder about many thinks, which is always nice. But once going down into the subway, well that was a bummer..took me 4 trains to get to work... :( I was just mostly bummed that I was not in a dress though, I was wearing jeans, so that mixed with the intense humidity caused a sticky situation. :) anyways, it made for an interesting day. I was wishing though that I was wish someone to talk to. I did feel a bit lonely from time to time being all by myself, oh well.... Today is beautiful and gorgeous out, and Emily [girl I babysitt] are now going to go rollerblading! Yee haw!

The past couple weeks I have been in a very sleepy state. I am so mentally exhausted from all the thinking I've been doing and I am getting even more tired thinking about the more thinking I will be doing in less than a month, when school starts again. I can't believe I am going to be a junior...It is tripping me out to think, where will I be a year from now. What is weird is that this same time last year I was in the same mood! Scary that I even remember that, but my feelings and emotions were magnified so much last year and now I am feeling the same sort of feelings, but at the opposite end of the spectrum... These past weeks, I have pretty much hibernated in my apt. [typical swinging behavior of me] however, I don't feel too bad because I do have an apartment that needs to get put together before school starts. Gosh- when I get my act together, I will post pictures.... for now, quick images of work from last semester.....

2 new paintings on etsy. Okay I promise after this post I will not only post things on blogger that have to do with etsy...I am just trying promote it for a wee bit...then I will be done. :) And my newest obsession is collaging <- correct spelling? my artwork over photos...I dunno, this might sound silly. But if anyone would like I will do a couple collages for some people if they like...but it would need to be self portraits. Because that is what I am into now...and then perhaps landscapes or whatevers later...
