The one and only thing I got for myself while in London was this AMAZINGLY beautiful book titled "Brooch" There are a lot of pages and they are all transparent so you can see the next page behind it. Not really a book to buy for a little child but for your inner child! :)

oooo, that is SO LOVELY! I've always loved vellum and other transparent materials. They layer so nicely and create atexture even though they can stay flat. Does that make sense? still, super lovely. :)
A gorgeous book, already on my wishlist.
