Schools out for the summer! Trying to do a deep clean before I get started on any projects. I am quite appalled at how many magazines I have accumulated and of course have not made any time to thoroughly look through. So after spending thee ENTIRE day yesterday tearing through all of my magazines, I have decided that I am only allowed to buy 1 magazine a month [SO-EN] and then 2 the rest of the year for my birthday and Christmas! ^^^seriously^^^
fooling around with my drawings... my insides are all crazy like again with inspirations flooding my head from every direction.... it is extremely overwhelming sometimes which at times makes me so exhausted that I just want to smother my head with my pillows, and find the deepest corner to sink into and have tons of blankets piled on me... :/

Just got back from seeing the movie Surfwise with my sister. This movie......touched me very deeply for reasons that I would not find appropriate to talk about over my blog, but it is just so interesting to see or hear about parents and/or children who struggled pretty hard as much as you, if not harder. There were some really funny, sad, heartbreaking, and uncomfortable movements strung throughout the entire movie, and some unresolved issues that leaves me feeling needing to know more and wanting an update within the next couple years. I suggest going and seeing this movie, gives you a lot to think about, especially in regards to the kind of parent you want to be. And...way back when > 9 years ago actually, I had the opportunity of meeting Adam Paskowitz [the 6th child of 9 children] when he was in the band "The Flys" and getting to hang out with him for quite a bit after one of his shows, he and I swapped stories of our lives growing up as kids, which after hearing his story about he and his family being hard core surfers and living in a camper their wholes totally out beat my stories any day! I have always thought about him and his family and even wanted to get in touch with him over the years to find out more about what his life was like. So seeing this movie made it really cool to be able to get a deeper sense of what he was talking about when I met him back when I was 17! Anyways, I could go on and on about how cool Adam is and interesting is life growing up was but I think it best if you just see the film! :)
