One more week of school left! Let me just say this. PARSONS = CRAZY!!! I don't know how we all do it, honestly - we are zombies walking around at school...I wish someone would make a reality show of our school, that would actually be worth watching and learning from! :( As for recent activity, the usual > except I had the opportunity to hear my Themes in Fashion Teach Ms. June Weir interview Mrs. Iris Apfel last Friday. My teacher invited us to a small gathering of women who had come to see Mrs. Apfel, afterwards my classmate Ivy Kirk and I got to meet Mrs. Apfel and get a picture with her and our teacher. It was quite the day! If you don't know of Mrs. Apfel or Ms. Weir, I suggest you google them! :)

Love everything about Brooklyn, especially the parks! Made some time to cruise around Brooklyn and Manhattan on my bike last weekend with my good friend Holly [pictured] what a gorgeous day Saturday was! :) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Just made this new Roxy Marj S/S Bolo tie for my classmate, all I can say is that he looks even smarter now! More will be available next week for purchase. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

My final project for Concepts is on dandelions with an even deeper concept of micro vs. macro. Here are some images I found online that I thought were great interpretations of a dandelion, and of course photos of the flower itself. :) I have come to realize how underrated this little lady is. 1. When I started babysitting for the girls Annie & Emily [who I am still with but no longer considered their "sitter" more of just a companion I guess] they were just 7 and 9, they are now 14 and 16! Gosh! Time goes by so fast...anyways, when Emily [the younger] was 8 or so she asked me to draw a snail for her...so I did. :) That sparked something in me - I feel like every artist has a couple little animals or insects that they are consistently drawing/doodling, and since Emily, mine happens to be snails...but just recently I have added a new guy to the family. BED BUGS!!! :[) I find they have gotten a really bad rap in life and for what? They only want to get warm and cozy next to you while sleeping in bed, is that such a crime, do we really need to fault these guys over that? I think not! Poor fellas, someone has gotta look out for them, and I have decided that that someone will be me! ahahaha lol

The one and only thing I got for myself while in London was this AMAZINGLY beautiful book titled "Brooch" There are a lot of pages and they are all transparent so you can see the next page behind it. Not really a book to buy for a little child but for your inner child! :)

The Lower West!!! - More videos to come - p.s. this video is cut off in the middle because my memory card got full. :( sorry

Last night my sister Sarah and I went to an in-house show here in Brooklyn, our friend Dom Moore is a singer songwriter and his group The Lower West performed their first show ever in Jeff's apt. Jeff is the one on the left hand side of Dom. All I can say is that The Lower West is my new favorite band and I CANNOT WAIT till their first album comes out. For their show I made posters for everyone - sadly they were black and white because my school's computer lab was closed yesterday so I wasn't able to do any print-outs from our super lux printers. :( Next time. Below is the poster I made for the show. :) Back from London!!! I went with one of my best friends [Ken] and we had a great time! I love everything about that city and hopefully-hopefully I will get into Royal College of Art [my first choice] X fingers crossed X :) Unfortunately Ken's camera was left on the plane that had 95% of the photos from the trip.... [AirIndia...PLEASE if you are reading this, can you return the camera!???] :( So all I have are some really dinky photos not really worth posting - so self portraits it is... also included are some drawings that I did while at the British Museum and The Victoria & Albert museum.
